Summer Smoothie Recipes

Smoothies are a great way to get your daily source of fruits, and sometimes even vegetables. It’s almost Summer, and that means new smoothies to make. Different fruits and vegetables are in season during Summer, and that can really affect the taste of your Summer smoothie recipes. You start with a nice vegetable with fiber and other nutrients, and then add in some fruits. A milk substitute is added, and a liquid vitamin or supplement. Then, you blend the smoothie in a high quality blender, and pour into a cup. Add a fun earth-friendly straw, and enjoy! Here are some of our favorite Summer smoothie recipes below.

 Very Berry Smoothie

  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1/3 cup mix of blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries
  • 1/4 cup oat milk
  • 1 serving Liquid Biotin

Summer Sunshine Smoothie

Melon Madness Smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup honeydew melon slices
  • 1/4 cup canteloupe
  • 1 small handful diced squash
  • Splash of orange juice
  • 1 serving liquid vitamin of your choice

These are some really tasty smoothies, full of vitamins and nutrients. If you need it to be more filling, you can always add a small amount of oats to the smoothie as well. Protein powders are okay, just make sure they are all-natural and ethically sourced. Nut butters can add healthy fats to your smoothies, and so can avocado.

The fruit in these recipes can all be substituted with other fruits of your choice. Just make sure that the flavors compliment each other. Different fruits have different vitamins and nutrients. For example, bananas are full of Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, and more. Honeydew melons have a great amount of Vitamin C. Most citrus fruits tend to have Vitamin C as well. If you’re lacking a nutrient in your life, make sure you read up on which fruits have which nutrients!

Adding liquid vitamins to your smoothie recipes is a great way to increase vitamin intake, especially if you have any deficiencies. If you want an energy boost, add in Liquid B12. If you are experiencing a lot of inflammation, then  add in some Liquid Turmeric. The great thing about smoothies is they are completely customizable and easy to make. Smoothies are a super delicious way to cool down on Summer days! Just know that smoothies are not a substitute for water intake. It’s important to still drink plenty of water even if you’re having multiple smoothies every day.
