Vegan Hair Care Routine

Many of us are trying to be more plant-based, and some of you reading this are probably 100% vegan. It’s a great thing, relying on plant only products and foods. Vegan hair care can be a challenge. Reading ingredients on everything is not ideal, but sometimes necessary. Products that have vegan written on the label really help those of us out wanting to use only plant-based products. Less ingredients is generally better, so we don’t have to put on our reading glasses and determine what we are putting on our hair and skin. Let’s go over some hair care products you can incorporate into your vegan hair care routine.

Hair Oils

Oils can protect and moisturize hair. Which ones are vegan, though? There are actually many choices, but we do have a few favorites. Jojoba oil, castor oil, and almond oil all moisturize while promoting growth by stimulating the scalp. These oils can also smooth out frizzy hair and unruly ends. Jojoba oil is rich in vitamins that nourish hair, including vitamin C, vitamin E, copper, and zinc. Castor Oil has antibacterial properties that help prevent dandruff. Almond oil can strengthen hair and make it less prone to split ends. The awesome thing about these oils is that they can also be used on your skin from head to toe! After you exfoliate, you can apply one of these oils on skin for superior moisture.

Hair Vitamins

Hair care starts on the inside. For a 100% vegan hair care vitamin option, our 10000 mcg liquid biotin is a great choice! If you want double the concentration for less, and double the opportunity for best, look no further than SBR Nutrition! Our extra strength biotin may help hair appear fuller and thicker. Biotin may also help increase nail strength and improve skin tone and texture. The vanilla flavor is amazing and perfect for adding to smoothies, coffees, and yogurts.
