Simple Fall Treats

I always find myself craving sweets during this time of year. Deserts in the fall just make the
season even sweeter. Sometimes we don’t want to put in all the work of making those
extravagant treats. Well we’ve picked out some quick easy treats you can make that will for sure
cure that Autumn sweet tooth!

Baked Apples with Oatmeal Filling

This tasty treat is perfect for a crisp fall morning. If you like sweets for breakfast this desert is
perfect for you. Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Then you’re going to core 4
apples making a large well in the center. Then place the apples on a rimmed baking sheet. Mix
one cup of rolled oats, ¼ cup of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon into a bowl. Cut this
butter until evenly combined. Spoon ¼ of the mixture into each apple. Bake the apples in the
oven for about 30 minutes until tender and the filling is bubbling. Let the apples cool a bit and
enjoy your sweet morning treat!

Pumpkin Ice Cream

This dessert only takes 3 ingredients to make and the best part is that it will take no time. How
awesome is that? Begin by combining 1 cup of canned pumpkin and ¼ teaspoon of pumpkin pie
spice in a bowl. Then you’re going to mix that with a quart of softened vanilla iced cream.
Freeze until you serve it and then you can garnish it with gingersnaps if desired.

Caramel Apples

Simple Fall Treats

This dessert is a fall classic. This recipe is super easy and will have you enjoying one of the
season’s delights in no time! You’re going to begin by taking 6 small gala apples. Remove the
stems, wash thoroughly and dry. Insert wooden pop sticks into the tops. Then you’re going to
place one package of caramels and 2 tablespoons of water into a small saucepan. Stir
frequently over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until smooth. Remove from heat and dip the apples
into the melted caramel mixture. Place your caramel apples on a pan with greased parchment
paper. Refrigerate until caramel is set. There you have it, an easy and tasty fall classic.

An important thing to consider during the holidays is bloating, fatigue, and low energy levels from over-eating. Don’t over-do the desserts, and make sure to stay on a strong vitamin routine. Fit in some vegetables in between, and consider taking some Liquid Turmeric for inflammation during the Fall season!
